Blog Story

Even though I had not indulged actively in cooking until some time now nor had been so confident about this art, cooking has become a passion these days. My hubby being a foodie, I always wanted to be good at it but still I couldn't understand how to enhance this skill of healthy and tasty cooking until I started going through food blogs, looking at which I cultivated this hobby. After marriage, every time when I went shopping, I would buy recipe books, which would just lie in the book shelf. I might never have read them or cooked any food item referring them, but now I have started going through them and started preparing food items one by one given in those books. I make sure they are cooked using each of the ingredients given as it is and the food prepared appears as given in the photograph of the recipe book. I never knew the names of many of the ingredients, but now I refer my recipe books and started knowing most of them. Not only that, I love to serve the final preparation in the crockeries. My dining table is now well set for the delicious food to be served on it. The motivating factor is my hubby and my daughter, who are going to be my all time guests in my home restaurant 😉😋 The fact that I will be able to give tasty tiffin to my daughter, when she starts going to school is the number one motivating factor. Thats why, I am learning to prepare Recipes for Kids from various cooking websites. My another hobby of Photography will be useful here to make a collection of pictures of delightful delicacies I prepare. I will always be thankful to my brother and sister-in-law, because it is their beautiful kitchen where I use to love cooking whatever little I knew that time. All I did was that followed the instructions about how to boil vegetables instead of frying (as they preferred boiled vegetables rather than fried ones), how much spices to add, as little spice as possible etc, which made the outcome somewhat good. My family still liked it, the only ingredient that made it tasty was my love for them with which I cooked, my desire to see them smile while they ate. When I saw my brother preparing Pizza, garnishing it with various items, the result was so close to the Pizza from a Pizza shops, I realised the importance of garnishing instead of just preparing and serving anyhow. Everyone here, my hubby, his friends and my in-laws are in praise of the food I cook. All my learnings of life are going to be useful for grooming my daughter.

Hope that I always keep going ... in my Art of Cooking!!!
